X,Y,&Z: THE REAL STORY OF HOW ENIGMA WAS BROKEN

The aim of Polish Heritage Days is to promote and celebrate Polish culture, heritage of the past generations and the positive role and contribution made by the near-million members of the Polish diaspora to the cultural, economic and social life in the United Kingdom. This year is of particular dignificance as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the official Polish-British diplomatic relations and the 100th anniversary  of  the renewal of the bilateral Polish-British relations.

Dermot Turing celebrated this close relationship by paying tribute to the Polish cryptographers who were instrumental in breaking the Enigma code in his book X, Y & Z. He was delighted to have both English and Polish editions of his book available at this event.
